Creating a Non-Problem Related Encounter
Non-problem related encounters are helpful when you want to document on a patient profile but not necessarily on a problem.
Please Note: Terminology is different based on your setting. For example, a setting may use Organization as Location, Patient instead of Athlete, Encounters instead of Treatment, or Problems instead of Injuries - but the steps are still the same.

- Open the Global Search
- Type the patient name and select Search
- Select the three dots to the right of the patient, select Create Encounter
- Enter the encounters details
- Answer your account specific Background Questions
- Check Non Problem Related
- Answer the Affected Area questions
Note: these are not required in order to save
- Link performed services
- Add Notes if desired
- Add Attachments if desired
- Select Save
