Downloading a Clinical Summary

Step-By-Step Tutorial:

1. From the patient profile, select the waffle icon
    

2. Select Send Clinical Summary
    

3. Select the delivery method by clicking SELECT for the correct method
   1. Download as a PDF: Generate a downloadable PDF that you can send or store however you see fit
   2. Send to your linked External Health Record: We can send a C-CDA (standard clinical summary document) to any external EHR. This is helpful for streamlining care communication between doctors and providers working remotely.
   3. Send via eFax: Send a clinical summary directly via fax message. This can be sent to any fax number including insurers, doctors, or any other entity who might need the information.

4. Once you have selected your delivery method, you will set the parameters for your clinical summary
    

5. Select the documents you wish to attach by checking each box or selecting Include All.
    

6. Select Next to advance
    

7. Now, select the problems you'd like to include. Note: once you select the problem, you will need to determine if you'd like the associated notes included; this selects all associated notes for this problem, and another note filter will apply before export.
    

8. Select Next to advance
    

9. Select the Encounters you'd like to include by selecting Include All or selecting each independently, you will also decide if you'd like to include notes
    

10. Select Next to advance
     

11. Select the Referrals you'd like to include by selecting Include All or selecting each independently, you will also decide if you'd like to include notes
     

12. Select Next to advance
     

13. Select the Status Updates you'd like to include by selecting Include All or selecting each independently
     

14. Select Next to advance
     

15. Now, you can further filter the included notes. Uncheck the notes you'd like to EXCLUDE from your Clinical Summary
     

16. Select Next to advance
     

17. Review your selection and select Submit
     

18. Your submission will now prepare its generation. You will see a new notification bell with an orange badge letting you know your action is processing
     

19. Once your Clinical Summary Generation is complete, the badge will turn to Green, and a notification will show on your screen
     

20. To download your Clinical Summary, click on the Badge or navigate to your Notifications Tab, and Select Download
