A group code in Sway is created to organize and manage specific sets of athletes or patients for easier assignment, tracking, and reporting. Common examples include using group codes for a particular team (e.g., Varsity Football), a school or organization, a return-to-play cohort, a baseline testing event, or a research or screening group—making it faster to assign tests, filter results, and review data for that defined population.

It’s important to note that patient profiles are created when group codes are claimed. If a patient completes a test using a code and they already have a profile, the system will automatically match the new test to their existing profile.

profiles are generated from group codes or merged with previous profiles in the same organization
