Enabling Camera and Mic Permissions on the Web

These videos and tutorials will help you enable camera and mic permissions for a video call on different web browsers. You can use Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge for a Healthy Roster video call. We do not support Internet Explorer.

GOOGLE CHROME

  1. Click on the “camera” icon to the right of the URL box
  2. Click on “Allow”
  3. Click on “Done”
  4. Refresh this page

SAFARI

  1. Click on “Safari” in the top left of the menu bar.
  2. Click on “Settings for this Website”
  3. Click on “Allow” in the drop down box next to “Camera” and “Microphone”

FIREFOX

  1. Click on the “Camera/Mic” icon in the top left of the URL box
  2. Under “Permissions” select the “x” next to “block temporarily” that is next to “Use the Microphone” and “Use the Camera”
  3. Click on the “Camera” icon in the URL box, then click “Allow”

MICROSOFT EDGE

  1. Click on the “lock” icon in the URL box
  2. Under Website Permissions, turn on Microphone and Webcam
access allowance enabling camera
