Custom dashboards allow each user to tailor their homepage view to show only the most relevant tools, reports, and features. This guide includes a video tutorial, step-by-step instructions, and advanced capabilities.

Tutorial 1: How to Log In and Access Dashboard Settings
- Upon logging in select your profile icon in the upper right corner
Keyboard Shortcut: Alt + Z
to open dashboard customization directly.

- Select Customize Dashboard

- You will now be able to edit your dashboard as desired

- To exit dashboard editing, select done
Keyboard Shortcut:
Alt + x
to close dashboard customization directly.

Tutorial 2: Dashboard Basics & Navigation:

Within dashboard editing you are presented with a toolbox of various items you may add to your custom dashboard. Widgets are the independent items within the toolbox that you are able to add to your layout.

Note: Adding entities often requires more than just selecting “Add.” Once you've added a widget to your dashboard, you'll need to edit the widget itself. To do this, select the menu icon (three dots) on the widget and choose Edit to customize it to suit your needs.
Tutorial 3: Working with Tabs

Tabs act like browser tabs, letting you create and switch between multiple dashboards.
- Select + to add a new tab

- Select the menu icon (:) to the right of a tab to complete desired actions
Rename – Give your tab a custom name. |

Show Title – Display the tab’s title at the top. | ![]() |
Visible – Make the tab visible only in edit mode. Pro Tip: Use Visible to put out-of-season dashboards out of sight

Delete – Permanently remove the tab (note: cannot be undone). Pro Tip: If testing a new layout, create a new tab and hide the old one instead of deleting it.

Tutorial 5: Administrator Dashboard Management
Admins can set default dashboards for their entire organization:
- Create and Customize the desired dashboard
- Export the layout

- Go to the Admin Tab > Healthcare Provider > Provider Information

- Upload the exported .json file

- Click Save

- It's recommended to provide your tab with a name that will reflect the information housed on the dashboard. Select OK.

- To add a layout select from the toolbar Layouts

- Select Classic Layout

- Next confirm you would like the layout applied. As a note applying a layout will remove any existing information from the tab you are working on. Select Apply to confirm.

- Begin editing the existing layout to suit your needs.

- Select Done to save your edited dashboard
