Video Tutorial: Step-By-Step Tutorial: App

There may be times when you need to administer a Sway test directly from the mobile app.

This allows you to test the patient in real time and automatically associate the results with their profile — without needing to create or use a code.

This feature is available on the ✅ Mobile App only and is not available on the ❌ Web Portal.

 

This article is to administer a test as a System Admin or User of a Sway organization. If you need to complete a test as a student or patient, please reach out to your organization asking for you to complete the test to be provided with the proper information. More information can be found for test-takers on our FAQ page for Patients, Athletes, and Parents.

00:00: Hi, this is Nikki. Let's review how to administer a sway test. There may be times when you as an administrator need to administer a sway test directly from your mobile application. This allows you to test the patient in real time and automatically associate the results with their profile, and perhaps, even an event without even creating a code or using one.

00:22: This feature is available on the mobile app and not on the web portal.

00:26: And administrator or a sway user needs to administer this test.

00:32: Begin by searching for the patient's profile.

00:36: Once you've identified, the proper patient, click on their name.

00:40: Now, select take test.

00:43: It will be prompted to select which organization this patient needs to take a test Within.

00:49: Select which protocol or test, you'd like to apply.

00:54: Select whether this is a screening or an assessment.

00:58: Check the box if you'd like this test to be considered a Baseline.

01:03: Click are host to move forward within the application interface.

01:04: Next, as an optional component, you can input a name for this test.

01:09: Once completed, select create in the upper right hand corner.

01:14: You may now hand your mobile application to the participant. That is taking the test.

Step-By-Step Tutorial: App

If the athlete/ patient profile already exists follow the steps below: (Note: If the athlete/patient profile does not exist, please manually create the profile first)

 
  1. Search for the profile you need to administer a test for 
  1. Click on “Take Test” 
  1. Select and choose the fields for the test you are administering 
  1. Confirm that the test details of the test you are administering are correct, then click “Continue.”
