Sway - How to Create an Event

An Event in Sway is defined as an injury or other occurrence that requires testing. An Event is designated by an Admin or User and initiates an Event period. Providers create Events for several beneficial reasons. Primarily, Events allow providers to link follow-up testing and protocols to a specific occurrence for better continuity of care. Secondarily, reporting on Events helps identify trends, which can inform injury prevention strategies moving forward.
This feature is available on the ✅ Web Portal and the ✅ Mobile Application.

Step-By-Step Tutorial: Web
- Within the portal, use the search bar to navigate to your patient profile

- From the main profile page, click on the “Events” Tab.

- Click Create Event

- Enter the information for the event itself

- To save this event, select Create Event

- Your new Event will be successfully created and listed for that profile

- Select Actions

- Select Create Event

- Name the event

- Select the type of event

- Edit the start date

- Input notes for the event

- Select Save to save the event

- The event will show in a yellow banner with the patient profile
