Video Tutorial: Step-By-Step Tutorial:

Deleting a code is generally not recommended and should only be done if the code was created in error, such as assigning the wrong protocol or creating a screening when it should have been an assessment. In these cases, removing the code helps prevent confusion and ensures testing remains accurate.

If a code is simply no longer needed, we recommend editing the expiration date instead. You can set the expiration to the desired day, which will automatically expire the code at 11:59 PM on that day.

 

This feature is available on the ✅ Web Portal only and is not available on the ❌ Mobile Application.

00:00: Hi, this is Nikki. Let's review how to delete a code. Deleting a code, is generally not recommended and should only be done if the code was created in error, such as assigning a wrong protocol or creating a screening, when it should have been an assessment. In these cases, removing the code helps prevent confusion and ensures testing remains accurate.

00:20: Now, if a code is simply no longer needed, we recommend editing the expiration date instead, you can set the expiration to the desired day, which will automatically expire the code at 11:59 p.m. on that day.

00:35: Select codes from the left navigation.

00:38: You will see a list of your active codes. Click on the desired code, you wish to delete.

00:44: Select the trash can icon.

00:48: Now, select delete, this will be the confirmation of deleting your code.

 

Step-By-Step Tutorial:

  1. Log in to the Sway Portal
  2. Click on the "Codes" tab on the left-hand side of the screen. 
  1. Click on the code you want to delete 
  1. Above the code details, you will see a trash can. Click on the trash can. 
  1. Confirm you want to delete the code by clicking the red "Delete" button 
  1. A green banner will appear to confirm that the code was successfully deleted
