Sway - How to Edit Codes and Notifications

Editing a code allows you to adjust its expiration date and choose who should receive notifications, as well as how those notifications are delivered.
A group or profile code can only be edited if it is active. If a code has expired, you will need to generate a new profile or group code before having the ability to edit.
This feature is available on the ✅ Web Portal and the ✅ Mobile Application.

Step-by-Step Tutorial: Portal
- Click the "Codes" tab under Main Menu

- Select the code you'd like to edit

- While on the specific code's page, click the "Pencil" next to the code name.

- In this view, you can edit the expiration date and who will receive notifications when this specific code is used.

- Click "Save"

Step-By-Step Tutorial: App
- Click "Codes" in the bottom toolbar and choose the code you want to edit.


- To change the end date, click "Actions" and "Change End Date."

- Choose the date you would like your code to expire and click "Update."

- To change Notifications, click "Actions" in the top right-hand corner of the specific code page and "Edit Notifications."

- Choose who to notify and how to be notified. A phone number capable of receiving text messages needs to be associated with the User in the Sway Portal in order to receive SMS notifications.
