Video Tutorial: Step-by-Step Tutorial:
  • You can download an Excel report of all of the events created in your Sway system, which will allow you to easily report head injuries to anyone that requests it (ie, school boards, state law, NCAA regulations, etc.)

This feature is available on the ✅ Web Portal only and is not available on the ❌ Mobile Application.

00:00: Hi, this is Nikki. Let's review how to generate an event report. This feature provides reportable data for all events created within your sway platform. Please note events must be created in sway in order for data to populate on the report if no events have been entered, the report will generate without data.

00:18: If you need guidance on entering events, please review our education article on how to create events and sway. As a reminder, this report may contain Phi please be mindful when downloading storing or sharing this report and ensure it's handled in accordance with your organization's privacy policies.

00:36: You have the ability to create this report from the profiles tab or within specific groups.

00:42: This tutorial will walk through the profiles tab.

00:47: What's within profiles, select export events?

00:52: Here then prompted to enter the start date that you'd like this report information pulled.

00:58: And also the end date.

01:01: Select save to apply your preferences.

01:04: A downloaded report will now show on your browser.

Step-by-Step Tutorial:

  1. You can create a report of all of your documented Sway events from the Profile tab or for specific Groups via the Group tab on the left sidebar
  2. From the profile tab click the Export Events button
  3. Choose the dates for your report and click Save
  4. You should see an Excel spreadsheet download onto your browser

Other Important Notes and Learning Material:

There has to be logged events within your system to generate a report -- if you have not created any events then the excel spreadsheet will be black

The report will show you the profile ID, first name, last name, group, event start date and end date, event type and any notes that you may have typed in

Please be mindful that there is athlete/patient information on your report
