Reporting - Exporting Data

There are several ways to export your data from your reports, each serving a different function.

Video Tutorial:

Step-By-Step Tutorial: Exporting your report as a PDF

We recommend exporting your data onto a PDF when looking at a small amount of data or exporting a dashboard primarily made of charts and graphs. Table data on a PDF rendering will only export if it's actively shown; if your table requires you to scroll to see complete data, you will not see the scrollable items on export.

  1. Navigate to your reporting tab on the left navigation.

  1. Select the report you'd like to run.

  1. Now set the report parameters and select Run.

  1. Select the menu

  1. Select Print

Tip: "Control p" or "Command p" will trigger the same process in most browsers.

  1. Change your destination to Save as PDF.

  1. Select Save to save your item.

Step-By-Step Tutorial: Exporting to show full Data Tables

Suitable when exporting a specific table and all its data rather than just what is visible.

  1. Navigate to your reporting tab on the left navigation.

  1. Select the report you'd like to run.

  1. Now, set the report parameters and select Run.

  1. Select the export button at the bottom of the table you'd like to export

  1. Select All Data

Note: Groups Only is helpful if you'd like to group or aggregate your data and you would like to export the summarized groupings and not just the individualized rows. Check out Advanced Reporting - Applying Filters for more help!

  1. A CSV file will then be downloaded to your device.

Step-By-Step Tutorial: Saving or Copying chart images

Useful when you'd like to use your reporting charts or graphs to present data in different areas.

  1. Navigate to your reporting tab on the left navigation.

  1. Select the report you'd like to run.

  1. Now set the report parameters and select Run.

  1. Right-click on your graph or chart.

  1. Select Save to save a local copy of the image
  2. Select Copy image to insert the image into your desired location

Next, we recommend reviewing configuring blocks, starting with Table Blocks.
