Table Block Configuration
Sorting and aggregating data in your reports will enhance your ability to visualize, organize, and ultimately make more effective data-driven decisions.

Note: this tutorial will show you how to from using a blank template; the actions will apply if you're adding a block to an existing report or template
- From edit mode, select +

- Select Table

- Now select to add your data source. The data source will provide a different way of grouping information from the system. Select OK.
Note: follow along with Advanced Data Source Topics for further information

- Begin to complete the configuration screen.

The title is required, but does not need to be visible
- Next, navigate to the column tab to configure which columns you'd like to display

- Select all to include all, or singularly include what you'd like to include by checking the independent boxes.


- Drag and drop the item within the list to reorder

- Edit the behavior of each column within the table by selecting the edit icon for that column

- Edit the column's configuration as necessary, select OK once desired changes have been made

- Select the data tab to continue to configure your table

- To see your data in standard format, select which column you'd like to sort by and select OK

- Adjust the position and size of your table as you wish

- Reset the report parameters and select refresh

- To edit the column width, you can navigate back to edit more or drag and drop the column to the proper width

- If you wish to group or aggregate, navigate back to your table edit screen by selecting the edit menu for the table.

- Now select Edit

- Select the Group By dropdown

- Select the desired data point

- Select OK

- Select Refresh to refresh your edit mode

Note: The count will correspond to the total number of rows in that grouping
- You can add additional grouping as well; follow along with steps 15-19 to add another grouping

- Select Refresh to see your double grouping

- Next lets, apply aggregation to your data begin in your tables edit menu

- Now select the Aggregate By drop-down

- Select the desired option

Note: if you select a non-number-based field, you will only be able to aggregate by count
- Select your aggregation filter

- Select OK

- Select to refresh your parameters; take note your sum will now be listed at the bottom of your table.
