Creating a duplicate profiles report allows you to identify potential patients who share the same or similar identifiers. Merging duplicate profiles keeps each patient’s record complete and accurate in one place, supporting safer clinical decisions and continuity of care. It also prevents documentation errors, reporting issues, and compliance risks that can arise from fragmented or conflicting data across multiple profiles.
This feature is available on the ✅ Web Portal only and is not available on the ❌ Mobile Application.
This tool can only be viewed by System Admin of the Sway Organization.
Step-By-Step Tutorial:
- Select click "Tools" tab on the right-hand side.
- Select “Get Report”
- Select Merge when you've identified a duplicate
- Review the details, use the switch icon to flip which profile to keep and which to merge
- Select Confirm to complete the profile merge
